For many years the Ramora team have been involved in high-profile street cleaning programmes for local authorities and BID companies throughout the UK. And this April, we had the opportunity to provide a deep cleansing service to support a very high-profile event indeed.
We carried out a 10-night deep cleansing programme in the heart of Leicester, ready for the Queen’s awaited visit to the city’s cathedral. The Queen arrived with the Duke of Edinburgh on April 13th – her first visit since her Diamond Jubilee in 2012. The event was an important occasion for Leicester and the delighted crowd who travelled from across Britain to greet her majesty.
It was essential that the city streets were clean, tidy and looking their best for the event, as the Queen was driven through the centre and travelled through busy areas including Market Street, High Street and Jubilee Square.
