We recently helped Manchester city council get Piccadilly Gardens in top form ready for its grand reopening on April 28, which was hosted by Councillor Pat Karney.
The gardens, which were fenced off for six months due to a broken fountain and required restoration works, were littered with chewing gum and needed deep cleaning after the building work had left debris.
To remove the chewing gum, we used the perfect combination of steam, pressure and temperature, therefore avoiding the usage of chemicals and any associated COSHH issues or environmental implications.
We also utilised our pressure steam generating equipment to clean surrounding paving slabs and concrete which produced fantastic results and eliminated some of the most stubborn stains.
Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens is now open and looking fantastic, thanks to a joint effort from all those involved in getting it back up and running.
