Since October 2013 Ramora have worked closely with Permastileesa at Manchester Metropolitan University, Birley Fields campus in Hulme, which opened late this year.
Ramora worked both internally and externally, cleaning all steel works, windows, GRC panels, glass atria and the external veil surrounding the building.
During the earlier stages of the build when Ramora first got involved, being on a construction site the building had picked up a lot of construction dust and grime, as well as facing the elements throughout winter. Removing the dust and grime without damaging the surface of the building was crucial to us, not to mention hitting deadlines and ensuring our client was happy.
Our experienced operatives worked from the ground and from height using access machines such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers & various other truck mounted machines, as well as the use of harnesses whilst cleaning the external veil, GRC panels and windows to all four elevations.
Ramora saw this impressive project from it’s early stages through to site opening and overcame various challenges throughout.
