Ramora were recently called to Bridgewater Hall, Manchester’s beloved, state-of-the-art concert venue to improve access for users. Bridgewater Hall is an exceptional building, designed with great architectural talent. Throughout the year they open their doors to more than 250 performances, welcoming crowds of visitors to watch their favourite musical talents.
Beside the venue lies a peaceful pool that circulates a graceful water feature. But, unfortunately, the algae from the water had begun to build up on the York Stone floor, making it an eyesore for eager ticket holders.
Ramora were able to remove the algae by skating 100-degree steam across the pavement to help lift and wash away the algae, as well as any remaining chewing gum. This left the pavement clean and clear for the public and prevented it from being a potential slip hazard.
Thanks to Ramora’s work, Bridgewater Hall can maintain their state-of-the-art aesthetic appearance and continue to welcome guests without worry. Ramora have visited previously to manage similar situations, delivering top results every time.
