We recently made one of our regular visits to Wolverhampton city centre to provide extensive street cleansing and chewing gum removal on behalf of our clients, Wolverhampton BID. As with any town or city centre, there are high volumes of traffic and footfall around the centre of Wolverhampton, so regular cleans are essential for dealing with the effects of air pollution, trodden in dirt and discarded chewing gum.
On our most recent visit to Wolverhampton, our team were tasked with restoring the pavements of King Street and Princess Street. Just a short walk away from Wolverhampton art gallery, the grand theatre and the Mander and Wulfrun shopping centres, both of these streets are extremely busy throughout the week. As a result, the grey and sand coloured paving stones quickly become discoloured and littered with stubborn chewing gum and other rubbish.
We pride ourselves on our environmental sensibilities and always avoid the use of chemicals where possible in our deep cleaning projects. Using our high-powered steam generating equipment, we can simply blast away layers of dirt and even the most tenacious chewing gum from the pavements. To provide ideal cleaning conditions for returning King Street and Princess Street to their glory, we used 100 degree steam.
Whilst we are based in Shenstone, Staffordshire, we are well equipped to provide a wide range of industrial cleaning services throughout the country and regularly work with clients in many of England’s biggest cities. If you are a business or local authority in need of deep street cleaning services but are concerned about disruptions to businesses, workers and members of the public in the area, our teams can work outside of business hours to avoid disturbance.
