We recently took a trip over to Leicester to complete street cleaning work on behalf of Leicester City Council.
As we arrived, the public footpaths appeared dull and tired from the frequent, heavy footfall. Paving slabs were looking glum and overworked as they were heavily dusted in dirt. Brick pavements were also suffering as dirt began to settle in between their joining’s, making the overall colour darken and appear unpleasant.
Over night our expert engineers were sent in with our high-powered steam cleaners, to skate the floor with 100-degree heat. This worked perfectly for wiping away all the mud and bringing the pavement’s colour back to life.
High pressure was also applied to help lift chewing gum, marks and stains, leaving the area looking pleasant and hygienic again.
As you can see from the photographs above, before our work the colourful pavements were completely disguised by dirt. This left the entire walk being dressed in a dull, grey coating. But now the colours have been revived, looking like new again!
